bea, we got no chef on board now galley mine am doing the cooking.. i saved this recipe will do this one sometime… there is no day bea i dont think of french pastry shops and boulangerie think I really fell in love with france this time round it was my 2nd year of 7 months stay…. hope is well

Maureen, you do not need a spring form mold. I did it once with one, and the other time without. Flip it then carefully on a plate with the help of another plate placed on top.

Hi.. found you from Simply Recipies’ cranberry links. This cake looks great and not too high sugar - perfect for the little ones. Question for you is the 9.5″ mold - is that a springform? Would some custard pan or alternative glass baking dish work instead? Thanks…. Maureen
