Hi Bea,

thank you so much for the stunning views and the poetic description. It is a pleasure to read your travelogue. I going to Tasmania in February and I hope that I will experience it like you did.

Cheers,

As a Tasmanian I have to say this post manages to capture the essence of the place better than anything else I have seen or read! Thank you. I am currently living in South America and your story transported me back to this very special place. If you get a chance to return make sure you head to Tassie's North and West Coasts - handmade chocolates, cheese farms, wild salmon, 'pick-your-own' raspberries, cherries and apricots - it's a great food lovers destination. Keep up the great work.

Oh bea how I envy your skill with the camera. It's such a shame that I have never been Tasmania and it is in my own backyard! Well you have certainly inspired me to go, and Wineglass Bay has always been on my list of places to visit.

wonderful photos, you just proved that simplicity is the best... and speaks more that over the top..and for cooking, quality and fresh ingredients is more gourmet than "fluffy" recipes

Eva, thanks for your comment. No special technique, no. Sometimes I am lucky and sometimes I am not, But even when cloudy, I try to make the best of it. I actually like the dramatic effect clouds bring to a picture, making colors stand out even more!

Well, it's not really an unexpected comment but I simply have to say that your pictures are beautiful. I travelled through Tasmania about a year ago and your pics brought it all back... Just one question I'd like to ask: Are you always a lucky one with the weather and light or do you have any special technique (you'd like to share...;-) for those brilliant colours?

Merci Fabienne
Bron, oh yes, I have so much to say about the place. Wait until I get to talking about New Zealand ;-) AND, thanks so much for the info about the cows. I had asked P. about them but he had no clue about their name, so I am super pleased to know now!
Anita, thank you my dear. I am glad you enjoyed the ride.
Rose, thanks a bunch.
Susan, ah yes New Zealand is a great choice indeed. Congratulations, your upcoming celebration is great news!
Christine, thank you.
Kat, thanks.
L, I know already that you will love it when you get down there.
Laurie, I hope you can go one day too. Worth the long distance.
Lydia, ahahah, yes!
Barbara, ah funny indeed. I guess it must be the little New Zealand/AUstralia debate ;-) A friend of mine from nZ just took the Australian citizenship and for a second, thought of betrayal, ahaha!
Fer, thanks so much! I am delighted you enjoyed it.
Jules, oh yes I so love your country! I hope you get there indeed.
Marie, merci bien.
Jimmy, I will definitely keep my eyes open. I love this stuff too.
Mayacook, oui, n'est-ce pas? ;-)
Meeta, like you, I could stare at these colors for hours. They are so clear that they seem unreal, like they belong to a painting.
Pille, I am giving new excuses for new travels! Yeah!
May, ah yes, being there, you MUST go!
Sue, thanks a lot. I am glad to bring good thoughts like this.
Gracianne, ah oui, je suis sûre que tu aimerais tant.
Adeline, merci à vous pour la visite. Ravie que ca vous plaise.
Anna, thanks so much for stopping by. Touched by your comment.
Veron, these wallabies are funny indeed. An oddly enough, I managed these shots when they hope everywhere. They got hammered by the sun ;-)
Mary, thank you, very much so.
Joey, thank you! It is true that Tasmania is not thought of often. Really a tiny island that people forget about AUstralia.
Lisa, a big thank to you for coming.
Adina, thank you.
Tanna, so happy that you enjoyed the ride, and again, many thanks for stopping by.
Octavia, that is a really really nice comment that you are leaving here. I feel flattered and pleased to have brought great memories to your mind.
Vincianne, merci beaucoup de ta visite.
Helen, ah tu es vraiment trop gentille. Bien contente que cela te plaise. Et bonne idée ;-)
Karen, I hope you manage to travel outside the US, there is so much to see in so little time, isn't there?
Gourmet, thanks so much.
Ninnie, merci bien. Cela me touche beaucoup!
LOry, merci merci!
Ilva, thanks so much, for the visit, note and tag!
