WOW! what a beautiful post. As a Tasmanian, I have to agree with Cassie (Aug 30th 07) and say this is absolutely the BEST travel incentive ever. So much better than anything I’ve read about Tassie before – stunning, just stunning. Come visit the top end of the island next time too!
Thankyou for reminding me what a priviledge it is to live in this beautiful island paradise.

As a Tasmanian I have to say this post manages to capture the essence of the place better than anything else I have seen or read! Thank you. I am currently living in South America and your story transported me back to this very special place. If you get a chance to return make sure you head to Tassie’s North and West Coasts – handmade chocolates, cheese farms, wild salmon, ‘pick-your-own’ raspberries, cherries and apricots – it’s a great food lovers destination. Keep up the great work.
