I agree with Liza on the Mac challenge. If you LOVE butter creme, the PH macs will make you happy. For me, the filling was less assertive and more of an accent to the Ladurée bisquit. Just the right accent too proportion-wise IMO. More petit in size also. At least the ones served in the salon de thé..so you didn’t feel like an absolute glutton if you ate all four

Personnellement je préfère les macarons de chez Ladurée à ceux de Pierre Hermé (quoique Hermé ait “inventé” les macarons Ladurée avant de travailler à son compte, je sais bien…); ils sont plus crémeux, et j’aime le crémeux. En plus, je crois que je n’ai pas des goûts très aventureux… J’échange 10 macarons huile d’olive/truffe de chez Hermé contre 1 macaron vanille de chez Ladurée, sans problème ! Hermé est intéressant, et délicieux bien sûr, mais je ne sais pas, les macarons Ladurée sont toujours plus… je ne sais pas… plus gourmands, plus “satisfaisants” peut-être(non que j’en mange très souvent !)… Bon enfin, tu nous diras ce que tu en penses !
